Timber structures and small wooden buildings are created as spaces that stand in a natural relationship with the place around them. What matters to me is simplicity, honest work with wood and a sensitive integration of the structure into the surrounding landscape.
I place great importance on the use of natural and ecological materials. This is not only about their appearance or technical qualities, but also about the way they affect the energy of a space, the quality of living and the everyday experience of using the building. Wood, clay, stone, natural insulation and other living materials create an environment in which a person can feel healthier, calmer and more naturally at home.
It is not only about building a functional object. I am interested in creating a structure with its own atmosphere, calmness and soul — something that does not feel like a foreign element in the space, but as a natural continuation of it. Wood, light, terrain, views and the way the place is used all come together to create a space where a person can pause, breathe and feel connected with nature.
